Cry-Baby (1990)

Before Johnny Depp decided he was a human cartoon, he was a heartthrob. This is the movie that supplanted him into my consciousness. Not sure how to categorize this movie, but it’s satirical, and campy, and the costumes are great. I love an homage to the 50s. Also, young Ricki Lake? Come on!
